KittyCalcs started because of three cats and too many conflicting answers online. Pickles, Mango, and Luna came into my life within a year of each other, and I quickly realised that finding reliable numbers — calories, portion sizes, medicine doses, growth milestones — was harder than it should be.
So I did the digging myself. I cross-referenced veterinary nutrition guidelines, built the first versions of these tools for my own peace of mind, and had a couple of vet friends sense-check the outputs.
